ULTIMATE!!!

I realised i haven wrote on my blog for quite a long time already..probably due to jensen's comments..
anyway went to watch inter-jc 2nd annual ultimate frisbee competition today..and met up with a few ppl and coaches..including Xing Ji..hehe
then on my way back..i overheard a gal say her boyfriend is quite pro with DOTA..ppl always say play DOTA waste time..then wat about all the other games? football, frisbee, basketball..all of them also waste time mar..for a lot of ppl..its not like u gonna use them to earn money also..and its not like u can use them to apply for scholarship(coz u not really good)..but how come less ppl say it is a waste of time??
well..maybe its because playing DOTA is not good for ur health, for ur eyesight..i dunno..
haha..i'll try to think about this topic if i got the time then i'll blog here bout it!!

btw..have anyone seen Time magazine a few weeks before? There is a quote from a US soldier in Iraq i think..and it goes like this: Everyone has civil wars, we had ours and became stronger. Maybe we should let them have their civil war and let them sort out things themselves.

Make any sense? Probably not..thats why he is in the army(no offence)..

wow..u know modern medicine is such a great thing..while getting my blood pumped out..or while having the big needle poked into me..i hardly feel a thing..without pain..u won't even know u are losing blood of dying..u can die so easily..so next time be4 anyone commit suicide...they should anesthetize themselves first..then they can die peacefully..without any pain..all maybe suicide bombers should anesthetize themselves before jihading..hehe.

But then wat about " No Pain, No Gain?"Does that mean that i am not doing any good because i'm anesthetized before i donated my blood?

anyway tomorrow's the World Cup finals..and i'm sure a lot of ppl who doesn't watch football will be watching the match while wondering..wat are they doing-22 ppl kicking a ball? But no one will be asking that question.. It is like the emperor's New Clothes u know..everyone just assumed that this is a great sport and dun dare to question it..because they are afraid they will be ridiculed or something like that

but dun get me wrong..

football is a great sport.

so is a lot of other sports.

but the point is those ppl that never usually watch football, what makes them watch now? Thats y human beings are social animals..what others do, they follow..Those ppl that dare to stand up and say..Sleeping is far more important than watching 22 ppl kicking 1 ball.. i admire them.

btw..i never woke up to watch the World Cup finals..din regret a bit..hehe

TALENTS

Talents? they say everyone has one..
and i'm sure those ppl that said such things are talented ppl in some way or another( if not we wouldn't have listened to them right?? )

so how do they know everyone has one? U know wat i think? they are just trying to comfort the rest of the world's population.. we ain't bornt equal, us humans..no..some ppl hav better brains than others and some ppl are just talentless.. but then..we all hope that hard work prevails....

and i'm almost certain hard work can never be anything as good as talent. Hard work- everyone can achieve it if they want..but talent- how good will it be if u could actually barter hard work for some talent..

its like buying technology u know..u lower ur production cost for everything..everything will be faster, more effecient..

but dun tell anyone bout my theory..coz the talented ppl dun seem to want to admit that they are what they are becoz of their talent..well not entirely but at least i can tell u it isn't like wat Edison wanted u all to believe..99% hard work and 1% talent..nah..wat he said is plain bullshit
