to BLOG: long time no see !!

The past month was hectic!!
Spent the first week in Klang for an audit job,
stayed in Crystal Crown lol!! my first time staying outside for work...so it was very fun!!

the next two weeks were spent in Singapore(officially i went there for interviews, but it was more like a holiday =p)

had a nasty sunburn in Singapore, and I got the BCA-KEPPEL scholarship!! =) happy me

the next week was spent in Temerloh, also for an audit job, this time it wasn't as fun as the first one because:
1) the room is super small..the whole room was like only big enough for the double bed...(but they have wireless in the room which is good coz in crystal crown U had to go to the lobby to go on9..
2) the town is a small town with nothing much....and it was only 2 of us..in Klang, there were 4 ppl so i guess the more the merrier lar!!
3) the food in Klang was very good!! probably becoz we had all the referrals..

but all in all, it was still fun!! good experience =p

anyways..i have a few pictures that I wanna post up..

1st pic...I went to watch iron man(DAMN GOOD MOVIE!!! WILL BE MY BEST MOVIE FOR A VERY LONG TIME..) with secondary school friends..and after that, 5 of us went to eat pizza hut...we bought a family mail for 4...so this is how we separated our shortbread(is it called shortbread?)...creative ???
2) We visited the "palace" of Zakaria Deros..the infamous politician who died after the GE when we were in Klang..
the worst part is the palace is actually built around small, kampung kind of houses..completely inappropriate, haih...the state of malaysian politics...

3) In singapore, we wanted to play basketball, but the court was full...so we tried hanging like monkeys instead...1st picture is Anurad..2nd is me, and 3rd one- freeze !!

4) The second last day in Singapore, we went to WILD WILD WET!! it was fun in the sense that we got to go out as a group...but we din really get to ride alot of the rides(the rides were pretty lousy anyway =p) due to the HUGE amount of ppl..it was Wesak Day after all, so we just lazed around to get sunburned....

picture of my skin starting to peel..
few days later...skin peeling..gross right..i looked like i have skin cancer or something..
5) This thing was in the bathroom of the hotel room in Pahang when we came back..scary..

6) and he/she has nice hands...actually does it look more like a she or he?? i honestly can't decide..

Interviews Interviews Interviews

Well i have gone through more interviews in a week than in my entire 19 years of life.

All thanks to BCA..
haha
ppl may complain bout the lack of money it gives but for the highest ratio of interviews to amount of time spent in the scholarship application process, BCA is undoubtedly the champion.

And seriously, practice helps : more interviews - more practice, the more comfortable u get.

that was until today anyway.

Today, i had my first second round(most of the time i never made it to the 2nd round, thats how bad i am in interviews =p)...and my fingers were trembling!! guess being comfortable in the 1st round doesn't mean u'll be comfortable in the 2nd round..if u get what i mean..the interviewers are bigger fish, which makes u look so insignificant, and you feel so much more pressure....

ROFL

I got this from Florence's Blog

Dear IT Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower, gifts and jewellery applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as Formula One 5.0, NBA 3.0 and World Cup 2.0.

And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I’ve tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Dear Desperate Housewife,

First keep in mind:
Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.

Try entering the command C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download
Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0.

If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Late Night Teh Tarik 6.1.

Late Night 6.1 is a very bad program that will create SnoringLoudly.wav files.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another
Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash
Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited
memory and cannot learn new applications quickly.

You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Tasty Food 3.0 and Tongkat Ali 6.9.

Good Luck,
IT Support

My reply:

Dear IT Support,

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in Appearance 3.1 as well as Dress Up 5.1 that had operated flawlessly under Girlfriend 5.0.

In addition, Wife 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Sweet 3.1 and Caring 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as Gucci 5.0, Prada 3.0 and Louis Vutton 2.0 which eats up all the RAM from Wallet 2.3. Worst of all, Wife 1.0 infects the system with spyware Nagging 5.3.

And now Wife 1.0 threatens to upgrade Nagging 5.3 to Nagging 6.0, and downgrade Hot and Steamy Love v4.0 to v1.0. And running anti spyware - HappyHour 8.0 simply crashes the system.

What can I do?

Our Deepest Fear

- is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
