BRAVERY

I don't think many ppl actually know what bravery is. I mean we live in this comfortable world...how many of us have actually committed an act of bravery..like saving a stranger's life in a war zone...

Come to think of it, do u think criminals are brave?? I mean..are you brave enough to rob a bank??
Not many ppl would be able to do that don't u think??

The bravest thing i think most of us have done is i think to say "i like you" to that special someone... or public speak... =p

Nice Song/Singer!!

Accidentally stumbled into this singer and song...Marie Digby..

Like her voice =p, what do u think?

Graciousness

I just came back from a trip to the fridge and the ice tray was empty!!
Luckily there were still ice in the ice container.
If only i knew who those inconsiderate souls are.
Selfish ppl.
Saving their own time in expense of others...

My cousin once told me that civic mindedness of your hall/cluster/housemates can be measured by the amount of ice cubes left in the ice container as well the ice tray.

I can't agree enough.

A few weeks ago we were crowding around the attendance sheet to mark attendance from some stupid seminar. The crowd-control and organization was really bad and everyone was getting impatient.

This guy was holding the sheet trying to find his name, while everyone was crowding around him, when out of the sudden, another guy just took the sheet away without saying anything, looked for and ticked his name.

I suddenly bursted out: Oh my god, thats so rude!

He said: Sorry, I'm in a rush.
And I just blurted: Don't worry, Its okay to be rude when you're rushing for time.
And I can't believe I actually said that. I wouldn't say that out loud normally..
but hey, i felt really good after that =p

guess speaking your mind really does make a difference.

Ramblings

U know when they say that to the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

But to the world that one person is still one person....

So you are the world to someone who is also insignificant to the world, so how does being the world to one person make your life any more significant??

Of waking ups and Housisms

Have you ever wondered why it is so hard for teens to wake up or sleep early??

Guess what i found here
"During adolescence, the body's circadian rhythm (sort of like an internal biological clock) is reset, telling a teen to fall asleep later at night and wake up later in the morning. This change in the circadian rhythm seems to be due to the fact that the brain hormone melatonin is produced later at night in teens than it is for kids and adults, making it harder for teens to fall asleep."

Ah HA, so the next time ur mum(or ur friend, or your dad, or your boyfriend) tries to wake u up at 8am in the morning, or tries to get you to sleep at 12am at night, you can rebutt it using your biological condition. After all, this biological condition is like a disability right??And no reasonable person will be heartless enough to force someone with A CONDITION to do what their body can't do RIGHT??? It will be unnatural and perverse!!!

But wait, I didn't have this problem or sleeping until recently...In my JC years, I will feel extremely sleepy at 10pm and will be extremely attentive to my lectures at 8am. Sleeping at lectures was always someone's problems in JC.....but now it has become mine in Uni...

Does that mean I only reached adolescence at this ripe age of 20 years old??
Maybe I'm a late bloomer?? Gosh, no wonder I'm not particularly rebellious or involved in any Reformasi during my teens....In fact i can feel my teen blood bubbling in my veins right now....Haha i've finally become a genuine teenager!!! My hormones and testosterones are finally pumping!!! My rebellious streak is coming!!!
Muahahahahaha!!

Are u scared?

I know I am
I better go get some sleep now...before my nonsensical literal tirade kills someone.

Oh by the way, do you know what is housism?

Housism (n) -
A comment, normally a one-liner, generally an offbeat response. Something Dr. Gregory House would say.

LOL
